Abstract


Stunting is a growth disorder experienced by children due to poor nutrition, repeated infections, and inadequate psychosocial stimulation. A child is defined as stunted if his height for age is more than two standard deviations, below the WHO Child Growth Standards. The causes of stunting in children are: lack of nutrition in pregnant women, lack of nutrition in complementary foods, poor hygiene or sanitation
