Penyuluhan Rumah Bebas Asap Rokok di Desa Baet Lampuot Kecamatan Suka Makmur Kabupaten Aceh Besar
Abstract
Abstract: Passive smokers have a 4 times greater risk of suffering from the disease than active smokers. According to WHO data, 133.3 million adults are exposed to tobacco smoke at home. In Indonesia, 85% of households are exposed to cigarette smoke with a total of 30,222,071 men and 66,729,826 women. The purpose of this activity is to provide counseling to the people of Baet Lampoet Village regarding smoke-free homes. The method used in the service is in the form of material exposure in the form of power points as a means of counseling. This activity was carried out at the Meunasah of Baet Lampout Village which was attended by 35 people including the village head and other village officials. The PkM team introduced themselves and continued to convey the objectives of implementing the activities and conducting counseling. At the end of the counseling, a question and answer session was held and door prizes were given to those who could answer questions related to PkM material. Participants are active and motivated to create a smoke-free house in Baet Lampuot Village.

Abstrak: Perokok pasif memiliki risiko lebih besar 4 kali menderita penyakit dibanding perokok aktif. Data WHO terdapat 133,3 juta orang dewasa terpapar asap tembakau di rumah. Di Indonesia, 85% rumah tangga terpapar asap rokok dengan total laki-laki 30.222.071 orang dan perempuan 66.729.826 orang. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah memberikan penyuluhan kepada masyarakat Desa Baet Lampoet terkait rumah bebas asap rokok. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian berupa pemaparan materi dalam bentuk power point sebagai sarana penyuluhan. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di Meunasah Desa Baet Lampout yang dihadiri oleh 35 orang masyarakat termasuk kepala desa dan aparatur desa lainnya. Tim PkM memperkenalkan diri dan dilanjutkan menyampaikan tujuan pelaksanan kegiatan dan melakukan penyuluhan. Diakhir penyuluhan diadakan tanya jawab dan pemberian doorprice bagi yang dapat menjawab pertanyaan terkait materi PkM. Peserta aktif dan termotivasi untuk mewujudkan rumah bebas asap rokok di Desa Baet Lampuot.
