Abstract


Abstract: The cultivation of catfish and kale in buckets is one of the alternatives to achieve food
security Along with the rapid development of development in urban areas, there is a reduction in
potential agricultural land, so that land that was previously used for agriculture and fisheries is
converted into residential areas, so to fulfill the nutrition of the farming family, it is necessary to
have agricultural innovations that are interesting and easy to do. Utilizing kararangan land is the
right solution in maintaining food security, one of the ways is to use the technology of catfish and
kale cultivation in buckets (BULEKAMBER). The basic technique of cultivating catfish and kale in
buckets is planting kale plants and raising catfish in one container. Limited yard area is a
problem for the people in Meuraxa District in cultivating agricultural commodities for the
community, so that to provide nutrition for the farming family, it is necessary to have agricultural
innovations that are interesting and easy to do, therefore it is necessary to conduct Catfish
Cultivation Training in Buckets (BULEKAMBER). As an Alternative to Realizing Food Security in
Meuraxa District, Banda Aceh City.
