Bimbingan Belajar Bahasa Inggris untuk Anak-Anak Usia Sekolah Dasar Di Desa Lampoh Keudee

Abstract

Abstract: This community service is entitled English language tutoring for elementary school age
students in Lampoh Keude Village. This community service activity is in the form of tutoring. The
purpose of this tutoring is to improve the basic mastery of English vocabulary for children. This
English tutoring activity was held in Lampoh Keude Village, Kuta Baro District, Aceh Besar,
which was attended by 30 participants. The implementation of tutoring activities used the method
of explanation, demonstration and playing game. The results of this activity show an increase in
English language skills, namely an increase in students' English vocabulary. The students are able
to follow and understand the English material that was taught in this tutoring activity. This
tutoring is effective in helping elementary school age children in Lampoh Keude Village to
improve their knowledge such as the alphabet, fruits, colors and nouns in English.
