PENGARUH PEMBERIAN JUS TOMAT TERHADAP PERUBAHAN TEKANAN DARAH PADA LANSIA PENDERITA HIPERTENSI DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS JEULINGKE KOTA BANDA ACEH

Abstract


Hypertension can be prevented with necessary the appropriate and efficient. A solution hypertension reduction in principle there are two kinds of therapy of pharmacology that is by the use of remedies, and therapeutic non of pharmacology namely with modification daily lifestyle and returned to a natural product. Non of pharmacology therapy usually use of which is much found in the community. One of them is by the juice of tomatoes. The womb in the fruit is commonly consisted of tomatoes had been known to play a role in lowering blood pressure is licopen, bioflavonoid and potassium. The purpose of this research is had been known to the influence of the provision of the juice of tomatoes on changes in blood pressure in elderly patients with hypertension in the work area of public health centers Jeulingke kota Banda Aceh. The kind of research do is pre experimental design by approach two group pretest posttest design. The population of the research is the elderly patients hypertension. While included in research is elderly patients hypertension in 2018 amounting to 34 the divided into 5 village in working areas public health centers Jeulingke kota Banda Aceh. The research was conducted in the work area of public health centers Jeulingke kota Banda Aceh on the date of the 9-16 July 2018. The research results show that in the intervention shows pressure blood systole with the p value = 0,000. While in blood pressure the diastole of the with the p value = 0,000. As for the result of research on the control group shows pressure blood systole with the p value = 0,235. While in blood pressure the diastole of the with obtained value p value = 0,086. Based on the research done it can be concluded that in the intervening any impact of tomato juice on changes in blood pressure on elderly patients systole and diastole hypertension. Then on the control group no on changes in blood pressure on elderly patients systole and diastole hypertension. Expected to elderly patients hypertension to consume tomato juice that a decline in blood pressure. Thus it would reduce pain in the elderly hypertension such as strokes and a heart attack.
