Hubungan Status Gizi Dengan Usia Menarche Pada Siswi Kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Tanah Jambo Aye

Abstract

There has been acceleration in the process of growing a woman. We can see a shift in the early puberty toward a younger age that is explained by increasing general health and nutrition. A better state of nutrition will accelerate the growth of human sexual organs. The purpose to know the relationship of nutritional status with age of menarche at schoolgirl of class VII SMP Negari 1 Tanah Jambo Aye. By using analytical test method with cross sectional approach. Subjects of the study were 64 people taken on the basis of just ramdom sampling technique. Sampling based on established criteria. The results of this study obtained p-value 0.003 means, there is a significant relationship between nutritional status variables with menarche in grade VII students SMP Negeri 1 Tanah Jambo Aye. Conclusion, the average age of menarche in seventh grade students of State Junior High School 1 Tanah Jambo aye 12 years, and nutritional status is good nutrition. There is a significant relationship with nutritional status with menarche. Respondents who have more nutritional status will experience an earlier menarche age, whereas respondents who experience nutritional status are less normal menarche age.
