Hubungan Usia Hamil Beresiko dan Kekurangan Energi Kronik (KEK) dengan Kejadian BBLR di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Celala Kabupaten Aceh Tengah Tahun 2020

Abstract


World Health Organization (WHO) says more than two thirds of neonatal deaths are caused by low birth weight birth weight less than 2500 grams. Based on data from aceh tengah District Health aceh in 2019 the number of low birth weight as much as 266 cases out of 8746 births (3%). LBW cases highest in Aceh tengah district is in District Celala the as many as 30 cases out of 568 live births (5.2%). This type of research is an analytic study with case control approach. The population is all mothers who gave birth to low birth weight babies and not LBW in Puskesmas Celala. The sample in this study is the whole of the population of 30 cases and 30 controls.. Data was analyzed by univariate and bivariate using chi-square test at 95% confidence level (p <0.05). The results showed the age variable risk pregnant associated with LBW with a value of p-value = 0.008 and OR = 5.231. Variable chronic energy deficiency related to LBW with a value of p-value = 0.007 and OR = 5.714. Advised To the health personnel and health centers Celala Aceh Tengah District, to provide care, education, counseling and promoting programs to address the problems associated with LBW
