Faktor Penghambat Dosen Dalam Metode Problem Based Learning Di Program Studi Pendidikan Dokter Fakultas Kedokteran Abulyatama

Abstract


Problem-based learning (PBL) is a new learning strategy that emphasizes student learning or in other words student centered learning. The purpose of this study was to determine the inhibiting factors faced by the lecturers of medical education study programs in applying the PBL method. The research method used is descriptive research with cross sectional approach. This research was conducted by distributing questionnaires to preclinical and clinical lecturers at the Faculty of Medicine at Abulyatama University and Medicine Hospital of Medical Faculty of Abulyatama University. This research was conducted in February 2020 - June 2020. After the data were analyzed, it was found that the knowledge / preparation of clinical lecturers in the Problem Based Learning method had the highest percentage with enough categories as much as 32 (91.4%) and the highest percentage of preclinical lecturers with enough categories as much as 39 (97.5%). Educational background of clinical lecturers with specialist education level are 33 (94.3%), and preclinical lectures as many as 21 (52.5%).
