Faktor-Faktor Yang Berhubungan dengan Kejadian Diare Akut Pada Balita Di Puskesmas Ingin Jaya Aceh Besar

Abstract


Diarrhea is the feces excretion with soft to liquid consistency with a frequency of defecating three or more times a day. If not treated with prompt and appropriate help, it can lead to dehydration. This study aims to determine the relationship between unsterilised milk bottles, hand washing habits, clean water sources with the incidence of acute diarrhea in children under five at the Puskesmas Ingin Jaya Aceh Besar. This research used a descriptive-analytic method with a cross-sectional approach (cross-sectional). The number of samples used was 73 children under five with accidental sampling. The data analysis used was univariate analysis and bivariate analysis using chi-square and Kolmogorov-Smirnov. The result showed that there was a relationship between the use of unsterilised milk bottles and the incidence of acute diarrhea in toddlers with p = 0.002 < 0.05, there was a relationship between handwashing habits and the incidenceof acute diarrhea in toddlers with p = 0.001 < 0.05 and there is a relationship between clean water sources with the incidence of acute diarrhea in toddlers with p = 0,026 < 0.05. This study concludes that there is a relationship between non-sterile milk bottles, hand washing habits and clean water sources with the incidence of acute diarrhea in toddlers at the Puskesmas Ingin Jaya Aceh Besar
