Faktor-Faktor Yang Memengaruhi Ibu Terhadap Pemanfaatan Posyandu bagi Balita di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Darul Imarah Aceh Besar Tahun 2019

Abstract

Toddlers are a group that is vulnerable to health problems. Health problems that occur in toddlers affect growth and development both in toddlerhood and in the next period. One of the efforts to monitor the growth and development of toddlers is the Posyandu and can be seen using the Card Towards Health (KMS). This study aims to determine the factors that influence mothers on the use of posyandu for toddlers in the working area of the Darul Imarah Health Center Aceh Besar in 2019. This type of research is analytic with a Cross Sectional approach, the sampling technique is Cluster Sampling with a total of 97 samples, how to data collection by distributing questionnaires containing 28 questions, the research was conducted from April 25 to May 10, 2019. Research Results There is an effect of mother's knowledge on the use of posyandu for toddlers with a P-value = 0.008, There is an influence of mother's motivation on the use of posyandu for toddlers with a P-value = 0.016, there is an influence of husband's support on the use of posyandu for toddlers with a P-value =0.018. The conclusion is that there is an effect of knowledge, motivation, and husband's support on the use of posyandu for toddlers. It is hoped that health workers, especially midwives, can increase information about the benefits of posyandu so that they can increase mother's knowledge and can motivate mothers who have toddlers to be able to bring their children to posyandu every month.
