Pengaruh Terapi Slow Stroke Back Massage Terhadap Kualitas Tidur Pasien Post Operasi Sectio Caesarea

Abstract


The poor quality of postpartum maternal sleep causes various negative impacts on the recovery of the mother's condition after the postpartum period, including the reduced amount of breast milk, slowing the process of uterine involution, causing depression, inability to care for the baby and herself, chronic insomnia that causes sleepiness daytime, cognitive decline, fatigue and fast. Poor quality of post partum mother's sleep causes various negative impacts. One of the non-pharmacological therapies that can be done is Slow Stroke Back Massage (SSBM) therapy. This study aims to determine the effect of Slow Stroke Back Massage therapy on the sleep quality of postoperative sectio caesarea patients. This type of research is an analytic that influences Slow Stroke Back Massage therapy on the sleep quality of postoperative sectio caesarea patients at the Sultan Iskandar Muda Nagan Raya Regional General Hospital in 2016. Data collection was carried out on 15 to 30 in 2021. The population in this study was post-section caesarean mothers, totaling 10 people. Data collection using primary and secondary data. Analysis using paired t test, univariate and bivariate analysis techniques. The results showed that there were differences in sleep quality before and after the Slow Stroke Back Massage intervention with a t value 12,490 and p-value of 0.000 (<0.05). It is hoped that post partum mothers, this research is important for mothers to explore information about the impact of caesarean section surgery, namely disruption of sleep quality due to pain. One of them is to find information on relaxation methods that can be done independently with the aim of improving the quality of mother's sleep, one of which is the Slow Stroke Back Massage (SSBM) technique.
