Faktor-faktor Yang Mempengaruhi Status Gizi Balita Di Puskesmas Baiturrahman Banda Aceh Tahun 2021

Abstract


Nutrition is an important part of the growth and development of toddlers. Poor nutritional status can inhibit physical, mental and thinking abilities. Poor nutritional status is very susceptible to infectious diseases including diarrhea and acute tract infections and pneumonia as direct factors causing under-five mortality. The purpose of the study was to find out what factors influence the nutritional status of toddlers at Baiturrahman Public Health Center Banda Aceh in 2021. This research method is analytic with a cross sectional approach with Accidental Sampling sampling technique within a time limit of 2 weeks with a sample size of 68 respondents. The study was conducted from 6 to 18 December 2021 with univariate and bivariate analysis with Chi square test. The results showed that there was an influence of mother's knowledge on the nutritional status of children under five with a p-value (0.000), There was an influence of socioeconomic status on the nutritional status of children under five with a p-value (0.003). The conclusion is that there is an influence of knowledge and socioeconomic status on the nutritional status of children under five. It is expected that health workers, especially midwives and health workers, will further improve their performance in seeking counseling, counseling and information about nutrition
