Abstract


Abstract: Diarrhea is a bowel movement (defecation) with a liquid or half-liquid (half solid) stool, more than 200 grams of stool water content or 200 ml / 24 24 hours. Diarrhea is also a health problem for people in Indonesia. Particularly in the province of Aceh, the incidence of diarrhea in Aceh Besar is greater than that of Banda Aceh in the past year. In the age group of 9-14 years (85.7%) more respondents in this study. To reduce the prevalence of the incidence of diarrhea need a quick and precise prevention one of them by hand washing well and correctly The purpose of the study: To determine whether the relationship between clean and healthy Behavior (PHBS) with the incidence of Diarrhea in Santri in Pondok Pesantren Insan Qurani Suka Makmur district of Aceh Besar 2018 Research methods : This research is analytic observational using cross sectional design. Data collection using questionnaires and interviews.The results of the study showed that of the total 40 espondents who did not perform a clean and healthy life behavior, there were 30 respondents (75%) affected by diarrhea and only 10 respondents (25%) were not exposed to diarrhea from a total of 50 respondents who did a clean and healthy life behavior , there were 25 respondents 50%) affected by diarrhea. Hypothesis test results obtained ρ-value = 0.016 where the value is <: 0.05 soa it can be statistically concluded that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) accepted Conclusion: There is a relationship of clean and healthy life behavior with the incidence of diarrhea in santri Insan Qurani
