Abstract

Abstract: Aerobic exercise when done in a healthy state regularly and fun can improve the immune system and the number of leukocytes. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of mild and moderate aerobic intensity on blood leukocyte levels. This research is experimental with pretest-posttes group design design. The subjects of the study were women aged between 18-20 years who were divided into 3 groups: control group, mild intensity group, and medium target group. On the aerobic exercise keywords light intensity exercise exercises 59% Hrmax and 79% Hrmax exercise drills by pedaling a static bike. The examination results of pre and post leukocyte counts were analyzed normally, paired t test, and Oneway ANOVA test. Based on paired t-test result, there was no difference in the number of pretest and posttest leukocytes in the control group (p = 0.19), there were differences in the number of pretest and posttest leukocytes in the light intensity group (p = 0.02), and there was a difference Number of pretest and posttest leukocyte counts in the medium target group (p = 0.00)
