ANALISIS FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI KEJADIAN DISPENSING ERROR DI PUSKESMAS KOTA BANDA ACEH DAN ACEH BESAR

Abstract


Dispensing errors will cause enormous losses to patients such as increasing the cost of treatment and even death. The importance of the role of pharmacy in preventing dispensing errors is highly expected to improve patient safety, but the incidence of dispensing errors still occurs a lot in prescribing services to patients such as wrong patients, wrong etiquette, wrong medication, wrong dosage, incorrect number of drugs and expired drugs.This study uses quantitative and qualitative methods with a cross sectional design. Data collection is done using questionnaires, observation and interviews. The population in this study were all medicinal room staff who served patient prescriptions in the health centers of the cities of Banda Aceh and Aceh Besar, namely 81 respondents. The place of research was carried out on 22 puskesmas in the cities of Banda Aceh and Aceh Besar. The sample used is total sampling. The statistical test used is logistic regression using the STATA 12 program.The results showed that respondents who had good knowledge of 40.74%, who felt a high workload of 75.31% or 2/3 of the total respondents, who felt they had communicated well by 40.74%, understood SPO as good as 41, 98%, facilities available 54.32%, work environment is good 50.62%, competency is 58.02% and good work experience 59.26%. Statistical test results obtained there is a relationship between knowledge (p-value = 0.025), workload (p-value = 0,000), communication (p-value = 0,000), SPO (p-value = 0,000), means (p-value = 0.024), work environment (p-value = 0.031), and competence (p-value = 0.002) with ME events, while work experience (p-value = 0.073) there is no relationship with the incidence of dispensing errors in the health center of Banda Aceh and Aceh Big. The occurrence of dispensing errors is influenced by knowledge, workload, communication, SPO, facilities and work environment. Through the head of the puskesmas, it is expected to provide professionals in conducting pharmacy services at the puskesmas, increase the knowledge and skills of medicinal room staff in pharmaceutical services, regulate the needs of pharmaceutical personnel so that the workload is balanced, improve effective communication between interpersonal health personnel and / or patients, make and run standards operational services in accordance with applicable rules, creating a comfortable work environment, and placing drug room officers according to their respective competencies.
