FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI KECEMASAN ORANG TUA PADA ANAK YANG MENJALANI PEMBEDAHAN PRE OPERASI DI RUMAH SAKIT IBU DAN ANAK PEMERINTAH ACEH

Abstract


This study aims to determine the factors that increase parental anxiety which causes pre-operative disorders at the Aceh Government Mother and Child Hospital. This research is a descriptive study with a cross-sectional design. The sampling technique that by using random sampling technique with the number of 30 respondents from elderly pre-operative surgery patients. The instrument used in this research was an anxiety level questionnaire with the Hamilton Rating For Anxiety (HRS-A) measuring instrument. analyzed using the Wilcoxon Test with a significance level of p-value < α 0.05. The results of this study showed that 2 respondents (6.7%) experienced panic, 5 respondents (16.7%) experienced severe anxiety, 15 respondents (16, 7%) 7%) experienced moderate anxiety, 8 respondents (26.6%) experienced mild anxiety. The research results show that nurse communication is one of the factors that greatly influences parental anxiety with a ratio value of 6.39. This means that nurse communication has a 6.39 times chance of influencing parents' anxiety levels. The patient's parents experience anxiety every time the patient undergoes surgery. The anxiety felt by most respondents was due to a lack of knowledge or information regarding surgery
