HUBUNGAN PENGETAHUAN DAN SIKAP REMAJA PUTRI DENGAN KEPATUHAN MENGKONSUMSI TABLET FE DI SMA KUTA COT GLIE ACEH BESAR

Abstract

The health and nutrition of the 10-24 year old age group in Indonesia is still a concern. Adolescent health, including reproductive health, is caused by nutritional problems that occur in adolescents, including anemia and chronic energy deficiency. According to the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia, in Indonesia, anemia is a considerable health problem, with a prevalence of 22.7% in women of childbearing age, 37.1% in pregnant women, and 30.0-46.6% in working women. This study aims to determine the relationship between knowledge and attitudes of adolescent girls towards adherence to taking Fe tablets at Kuta Cot Glie High School, Aceh Besar. This study used an analytic survey method with a cross sectional approach. The population of this study were high school girls in Kuta Cot Glie were 94 students from class II-III. The results of this study showed that the highest number of adolescent girls' compliance in consuming Fe tablets was 31 respondents (64.6%), the knowledge of adolescent girls was categorized as sufficient with 21 respondents (43.8%), and the attitude of adolescent girls was positive with 46 respondents (95.8%). Based on the results of the analysis using chi square, it is known that knowledge with a p value = <.001 and attitude with a p value = 0.533. So it can be concluded that knowledge has a significant relationship with adherence to taking Fe tablets, while attitudes do not have a significant relationship with adherence to taking Fe tablets at Kuta Cot Glie High School, Aceh Besar. The results of this study are expected to provide additional insight for the community, especially about the benefits of Fe tablets and to educational institutions to provide an explanation of the benefits and importance of consuming Fe tablets.
