PEMENUHAN KEBUTUHAN IMUNISASI DASAR BAYI 0-11 BULAN DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS BLANG BINTANG DI LIHAT DARI PENGETAHUAN IBU DAN PERAN PETUGAS KESEHATAN

Abstract

In Indonesia by 2022 around 20% of infants aged 0-11 months in Indonesia have not received complete immunisation. Immunisation coverage at Puskesmas Blangbintang has only reached 18% of 100% coverage of complete immunisation in infants. Based on the initial survey, there are factors that need to be considered, such as low maternal knowledge and the lack of role of health workers. This study aims to determine the factors that influence maternal compliance with the basic immunisation of infants 0-11 months. The type of research is analytic with a cross sectional design. All mothers who have babies aged 0-11 months (181 people) in this area were sampled (total sampling). Data collection used primary data and secondary data analysed with univariate and bivariate. The results showed that there was an effect of knowledge (p value=0.000<0.05), and the role of health workers (p value=0.012<0.05) with compliance in fulfilling complete basic immunisation in infants 0-11 months in the Puskesmas Blang Bintang Working Area, Aceh Besar. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the factors that influence compliance in fulfilling complete basic immunisation in infants 0-11 months in the Working Area of Puskesmas Blang Bintang Aceh Besar are knowledge, and the role of health workers. Mothers are expected to increase their knowledge about the importance of complete basic immunisation for infant health. In addition, the participation of health workers is needed in fulfilling complete basic immunisation in infants 0-11 months in the Blang Bintang Puskesmas Working Area, Aceh Besar.
