PENGARUH MINAT IBU TERHADAP KELAS IBU HAMIL DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS LHOKNGA KABUPATEN ACEH BESAR

Abstract


The health development programme in Indonesia as stated in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) aims to increase public awareness in the application of healthy living behaviour, especially pregnant women through health promotion, one of which is mother's class as an effort to improve health status. Based on data from Puskesmas Lkoknga for the period January to May 2024, there were 109 pregnant women, of whom only 50 actively attended maternity classes. In the Lhoknga health centre working area there are 28 active pregnant women classes. This study aims to see the effect of maternal interest in pregnant women's classes in the working area of the Lhoknga Community Health Centre, Aceh Besar District. This type of research is analytic with a cross sectional approach. The population in this study were all pregnant women at the Lhoknga Aceh Besar health centre in the January-May 2024 period, namely 109 pregnant women. The sampling technique was total sampling. Data were analysed univariately and bivariately and processed using the Chi-Square Test statistical test. This type of research is analytic with a cross sectional approach. The results showed that there was an influence of knowledge (p value = 0.002) and husband support (p value = 0.010) on mothers' interest in attending classes for pregnant women at the Lhoknga Community Health Centre, Aceh Besar Regency in 2024. It is expected that health workers can develop knowledge, understanding, skills in services regarding the implementation of pregnant women's classes
