GAMBARAN TINGKAT KECEMASAN PERSIAPAN OPERASI SECTION CAESARIA PADA IBU HAMIL DI RS PERTAMEDIKA UMMI ROSNATI BANDA ACEH

Abstract

The problem studied in this research is the risk factors for type 2 diabetes mellitus at the Pertamedika Ummi Rosnati Hospital in Banda Aceh. The aim is to prove the risk factors for type 2 DM in patients at Pertamedika Ummi Rosnati Hospital Banda Aceh. Analytical research method with case-control research design. The case population is patients suffering from type 2 DM in Banda Aceh Village and the control population is patients at the Pertamedika Ummi Rosnati Hospital in Banda Aceh who do not suffer from type 2 DM at the Pertamedika Ummi Rosnati Hospital in Banda Aceh. The sample consists of a case sample of 20 respondents and a control sample of 20 respondents. Data were analyzed using the Chi-Square test with a significance level of 0.05. The research results showed that the risk factors for type 2 DM in patients were lack of physical activity (p value=0.020 : OR=6.9), obesity (p value=0.001 : OR= 16.7). Meanwhile, those that are not risk factors for type 2 DM in patients are age (p value= 0.004 : OR= 0.394), family history (p value= 0.756 : OR=1), hypertension (p value= 0.244 : OR=2.1), smoking status (p value= 0.115 : OR= 0.459). Risk factors for type 2 DM in patients at Pertamedika Ummi Rosnati Hospital in Banda Aceh are obesity and lack of physical activity. Research suggestions, there needs to be activities to control obesity by carrying out physical activity ≥600 MET for patients.
