Pengaruh Sistem Olah Tanah dan Pupuk Kompos terhadap Pertumbuhan serta Hasil Jagung Bima15 di Lahan Kering

Abstract


 Abstract: To increase hybrid corn production can be done in various ways, one of which is to use suboptimal land as a land for hybrid corn cultivation by applying appropriate cultivation technologies including the use of hybrid corn varieties and balanced fertilizer recommendations. This research was carried out on farmers' land in North Aceh District with an area of ± 0.5 ha starting from September to December 2017. The research method used factorial randomized block design (RBD) consists of 2 (two) factors namely the first factor consists of: Po = no tillage; P1 = minimum soil tillage (the soil is processed in a row of plants). While the second factor is the dosage of compost, which consists of: Mo = 5 tons of compost / ha; M1 = compost 10 tons / ha. The variety used is Bima 15, each treatment combination is repeated 3 (three) times. Observation parameters consisted of plant height measured at harvest time, ear diameter (cm), ear height / distance (cm), weight of cob with klobot (g/plant), weight of cob without klobot (g /plant), weight of dry shell (g/tan), weight of 1000 seeds (g), yield of dry shell (ton/ha). The data obtained were analyzed by variance analysis and continued with Duncan's multiple distance test at the 5% level. From the results of the study showed that the addition of 10 tons /ha compost fertilizer and minimal tillage could increase Bima 15 hybrid corn production by 4.9 tons / ha.
