Pengaruh Irisan Batang Buah Naga Terhadap Pertumbuhan Bibit Tanaman Buah Naga Merah (Hylocereus Polyrhizus)

Abstract


Dragon fruit (Hylocereus polyryzus) is one of the most popular commodities in Indonesia. Indonesia has the potensial for developing this plant. This research aims to determine the effect of various forms of slices on the best dragon fruit seedlings. This research was conducted in Pasir Penjengakan Village, Lawe Bulan District, Southeast Aceh Regency. This research was conducted for 4 months from October 2016 to February 2017. The design which used in this research was non factorial Randomized Block Design with 4 treatments was the form of slices consisting of A0 (without slices) A1 (flat slices) A2 (slices oblique) A3 (pointed slices) and 3 replications so that there are a total of 12 experimental plots.The results showed that the shoots emerged significantly different from the without treatment (21.67 days) with flat-shaped slices (22.00 days) and the slices were tilted and pointed together (13.00 days). The number of shoots that grows differed significantly on the slices A0 (18.32 pieces), A1 (30.99 pieces), A2 (41.99 pieces) and A3 (43.66 pieces). The length of the dragon fruit buds differed significantly from the A0 (27.76 cm), A1 (34.37 cm), A2 (51.46 cm) and A3 (41.53 cm) slices. The diameter of the dragon fruit buds on the sliced sharing were significantly different: A0 (17.03 cm), A1 (25.6 cm), A2 (35.26 cm) and A3 (15.79 cm).
