Peningkatan Produktivitas Terung Ungu (Solanum Melongena L.) Melalui Aplikasi Pupuk Kandang Ayam dan Mulsa Ampas Tebu

Abstract


Abstract: This study aims to obtain the dosage of manure and the appropriate dosage of bagasse as well as to find out whether there is interaction between the dosage of manure and the mulch of bagasse on the growth and yield of eggplant. The first factor studied was manure (A) consist of 3 levels ie: A0: 0 gram/polybag, A1: 50 gram/polybag, A2: 100 gram/polybag. The second factor is the mulch of bagasse (T) which consists of 3 levels ie: T0: 0 gram/polybag, T1: 50 gram/polybag,  T2: 100 gram/polybag. Parameters observed included plant height, number of leaves, fruit length, fruit diameter, fruit weight per plant. The results showed that the treatment of various doses of manure had a very significant effect on plant height of 15 days after planting (DAP), significantly affecting the age of 45 DAP and no significant effect on the age of 30 DAP. No significant effect on the number of leaves, fruit length, fruit diameter, and fruit weight per plant. Treatment at various doses of bagasse mulch had a very significant effect on plant height of 15 and 30 DAP, and no significant effect on age 45 DAP. Very significant effect on the number of leaves age 15 DAP and no significant effect of age 30 and 45 DAP. Significant effect on the length of fruit and fruit weight per plant, and no significant effect on fruit diameter. There is an interaction between the application of manure and the mulch of bagasse, a very significant effect on the height of the eggplant plant aged 15 DAP. Very significant effect on leaves age of 30 DAP and significant effect of age 15 DAP.
