PENGARUH PEMBERIAN PUPUK KOTORAN KAMBING DAN PUPUK KNO3 MERAH CAIR TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN TANAMAN MELON (Cucumis melo L.)

Abstract


Abstract: The research aims to increase the growth of melon plants by applying goat manure and Liquid Red KNO3 fertilizer. This research was conducted in the experimental field of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Abulyatama Aceh. The design used in this study was a 3x4 Factorial Randomized Group Design (RAK) using 3 factors, namely the dose of goat manure (K) consisting of 3 levels, namely, K0 = Control, K1 = 3 .74 kg/plot, K2 = 7.48 kg/plot. The concentration of Liquid Red KNO3 fertilizer (M) consists of 4 levels, namely, M0 = 0 ml/liter of air, M1 = 2 ml/liter of air, M2 = 3 ml/liter of air, M3 = 4 ml/liter of air. The application of goat manure was carried out after the plots were finished, and the time of application of liquid red KNO3 fertilizer, M0 = Control, M1 = 15 days after planting, M2 = 30 days after planting, M3 = 45 days after planting. The changes observed were plant height, stem diameter, and flowering period at 15, 30 and 45 HST. As for the liquid red KNO3 fertilizer treatment, there was no significant effect on all observed variables. So it can be concluded that there was no significant interaction between the goat manure and liquid red KNO3 fertilizer between the two treatments.
