Abstract


"Growth and Yield of Several Types of Mustard Plants (Brassica Juncea L.) on Ab Mix Concentration in Floating Raft Hydroponic Systems." Supervised by: Mrs. Elvrida Rosa as the chairman's supervisor and Mr. Bustami as the member's supervisor. This research was carried out at the Gampong Kota Baru Hydroponic House, Kec. Kuta Alam, Banda Aceh City. This research was carried out from May to July 2023. The aim of this research was to determine the growth and yield of several mustard plant varieties (Brassica Juncea L.). This research used a completely randomized design (CRD) with a 3 x 4 factorial pattern with 3 replications. The treatment studied consisted of 2 factors, namely the type of mustard variety consisting of 3 treatment levels and the AB Mix concentration consisting of 4 treatments so that there were 12 treatment combinations which were repeated 3 times so that there were 36 experimental units. The first factor is the type of mustard plant variety consisting of 3 levels, namely: V1=Pakcoy mustard greens, V2=Nai Bai mustard greens, V3=Samhong mustard greens and the second factor is AB Mix concentration consisting of 4 levels namely: K1= 400 ppm, K2=800 ppm , K3=1200 ppm, K4=1600 ppm. Research data will be analyzed using a Completely Randomized Design (RAL). The mathematical model of the design used in this research is as follows: Yijk = µ + Aj + Bk (AB) jk + εijk If the F test analysis shows a real effect, then proceed with the smallest real difference test at the 5% chance level (BNJ0.05 ) to compare treatment means. The parameters measured were plant height, number of leaves, root length and plant stover weight. The results of the study showed that the influence of the type of mustard plant variety studied had a very significant effect on the observation of plant height (10, 20 and 30 DAP), number of leaves (10, 20 and 30 DAP), the weight of the plant stover (45 DAP), and had a significant effect on root length (45 DAP). The effect of giving the AB Mix concentration studied had a significant effect on the observation of plant height (10 DAP), but had a very real effect at the age of 20 and 30 HST. The number of leaves had a significant effect at 10 and 30 HST, but had no significant effect at 20 HST. At the age of 45 HST, it showed that the consequence of giving AB Mix concentration had a significant effect on the observation of the weight of the mustard plant stover (45 DAP). did not have a significant effect on the observation of root length (45 DAP). There was a significant interaction between the treatment of mustard plant varieties and the effect of AB Mix concentration on the parameters of mustard plant height (30 DAP) and wet fruit weight (45 DAP). The best treatment is a combination of S3K2 (Samhong and 800 ppm) and S1K4 (Pakcoy and 1600 ppm)
