PERTUMBUHAN DAN HASIL KACANG TANAH PADA LAHAN KERING MASAM DENGAN TEKNOLOGI PEMUPUKAN

Abstract


The development of peanut cultivation in acidic dry lands is a strategic alternative for meeting national food needs. Acidic dry lands are considered marginal areas characterized by problematic soil and physical environments, including soil fertility. The objective of this research is to examine the influence of the appropriate fertilizer package on the growth and yield of peanuts in acidic dry lands. This research was conducted in acidic dry lands in Sarah Panyang Village, Bandar Baru Subdistrict, Pidie Jaya Regency, from March to July 2021. The research employed a Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with three replications of plots measuring 3 m x 3 m each. The treatments consisted of three fertilizer packages: A/Farmer's Package: Urea 25 kg/ha + SP 36 50 kg/ha + 50 KCL, Package B: NPK 150 kg/ha + 1 ton/ha + 500 kg/ha dolomite, and Package C: Urea 100 kg/ha + SP36 100 kg/ha + KCL 100 kg/ha + 500 kg dolomite/ha. The research results showed that the fertilizer packages had a significant effect on plant height, the number of branches at 60 days after planting, the number of seeds per plant, pod weight per plant (grams), seed weight per plant (grams), and yield in tons per hectare. Package C provided the highest yield (1.60 tons/ha), followed by Package B (1.40 tons/ha) and Package A (0.90 tons/ha).
