Abstract


This research aims to determine the weight gain of quail meat (Cortunix cortunix japonica) gets papaya leaf flour treatment in the ration. The research was carried out in the experimental laboratory of the Animal Husbandry study program at Abulyatama University in May to June 2019. The research method uses a completely randomized design consisting of 4 treatments and 4 replication. That is: P0 (papaya leafless treatment in the ration, P1 (add using 2% papaya leaf flour in the ration,) P2 (using papaya leaf flour 4 percent in the ration, P3 (add 6 % percent papaya leaft flour to the rations. Giving treatment for 30 days starting from DOQ to harvest. During the traitment, every week gain data is taken. The results showed the effect of adding papaya leaf flour in the ration on quail weight again (P<0.05) in the fourth week.
