Tumpang Sari dan Pengaruhnya Terhadap Pendapatan Petani

Abstract

The increasingly narrow condition of agricultural land and the higher necessities of life cause a decrease in agricultural production and result in a decline in farmers' opinions. Making efficient use of farmers' land with intercropping planting systems in their farming is needed. Intercropping is planting two or more types of plants in one area of land. The purpose of this study was to determine differences in farmers' income with or without using intercropping systems. This research was conducted by survey method, in the Babah Ie, Meudeun and Sapek Villages, Jaya District, Aceh Jaya District, using a proportionate stratified random sampling technique of 20 people perani. The data analysis technique used is the difference of two averages (pair sample t test). The results showed that the B / C intercropping system was 1.89, without the intercropping B / C 1.45. The results of the two different test average (pair sample t test) intercropping system affects the opinions of farmers, or there is a difference in income with or without using the intercropping system.
