Penerapan Pembelajaran Problem Solving Terhadap Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah Matematis Siswa

Abstract


The aims of this study is to know the application of problem solving learning to the mathematical problem solving abilities of class X SMA Negeri Krueng Barona Jaya. This study is quasi experiment with quantitative approach. The population was all of students class X SMA Negeri Krueng Barona Jaya. The Sample is student of X MIA-1 and X MIA-2 classes. Intrument were used test, based on the result known that the mathematical problem solving ability of experimental class students is no better than the mathematical problem solving ability of students in the control class. Based on the results of the study note that the matchematical problem solving ability of  the experimental class students is no better than the mathematical problem solving  ability of the control class students after being taught with problem problem solving learning on the equation material and the inequality of the absolute value of one variabel linear where  19,46 < 1,72  and -1,72 > -19,46 with thitung  = -19,46 and ttabel= 1,72.
