Hubungan Faktor Risiko Hiperlipidemia dan Merokok terhadap Penyakit Jantung Koroner di Rumah Sakit Meuraxa

Abstract


: Coronary Heart Disease (CHD) is a condition where there is accumulation of coronary artery plaques, this causes the arteries to narrow or become blocked. A coronary artery is an artery that supplies blood to the heart muscle by carrying a lot of oxygen. There are several risk factors for this disease including hyperlipidemia and smoking. Hyperlipidemia is an increase in total lipid levels and low density lipoprotein (LDL) with or without an increase in triglycerides. Cigarettes contain nicotine which affects ketocolamine release on the autonomic nerve. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of hyperlipidemia to coronary heart disease and the relationship of smoking to coronary heart disease at Meuraxa Hospital in Banda Aceh. This type of research is analytical by using a cross sectional approach. Data retrieval is taken by simple random sampling technique. Research shows that the category of hyperlipidemia (40.8%), smoking (28.6%) and hyperlipidemia with smoking (30.6%) .This study found an association between hyperlipidemia and smoking against coronary heart disease (p <0,000).
