Optimalisasi Sproket Apron Feeder Untuk Mengurangi Tumpahan Di Area Penghancur Batu Kapur

Abstract


Crusher is a piece of equipment that functions to break the natural rock into smaller sizes according to the required specifications. The crusher at the Lhoknga plant has a BDP (Best Demonstrated Practice) for limestone material, which is 800 T/H. In this case, mechanical and electrical damage often occurs which has an impact on reducing the production process of raw materials (loss production) so that productivity is reduced. One of the reasons this can happen is due to the spillage of material that comes from the throwing of the crushing material in the crusher and the gap in the sprocket of the feeder apron. Where on the tool there is no cover as a retainer of material thrown from the crusher which causes spillage in the crusher area. Therefore, in order to reduce production loss and achieve optimal raw material production, optimization is carried out by redesigning the addition of a cover on the apron feeder sprocket to reduce material spills in the limestone crusher area. This cover is designed using a type of scrabble belt material to be resistant to vibration and not easily broken or damaged. With the addition of the cover, it can increase the productivity of using the crusher every day.
