Perancangan Sistem Informasi Penerimaan Siswa Baru Pada SMK Negeri 1 Lapang Berbasis Web

Abstract

Data management for new student admissions at SMK Negeri 1 Lapang is still carried out conventionally, namely prospective students who will register must go directly to the registration place then fill out a form and are also required to bring the necessary data and print it on books and because of the increasing number of candidates. students often lose files which make making reports very long. Therefore, with this problem, it is necessary to design a web-based (online) information system for new student admissions at SMK Negeri 1 Lapang. Thus prospective students who will register do not need to come directly to the registration site and do not need to queue. In building this information system, the authors use descriptive research methods and structured approach methods with tools such as flow maps, data dictionaries, entity relationship diagrams, data flow diagrams, context diagrams, normalization and table relations. As for the development method using descriptive while the programming language used is PHP with MYSQL database.
