Abstract

The role of information technology can greatly aid in the development of an institution, by using computerized technology, information will be easier and faster to distribute. SMKN 1 Teupah Tengah is an educational institution that is responsible for activities related to education, with the main purpose being, as we know, to enlighten the nation's life. This research aims to create a website-based information medium, as well as an alternative medium for students and the community who wish to obtain information about SMKN 1 Teupah Tengah. The design of this website is created with various references obtained, followed by testing with localhost and running it with Google Chrome and others. The results obtained are an information medium that can assist in the presentation of informational data. From the explanation above, the researcher concludes that by designing the Information System of SMKN 1 Teupah this web-based center can help provide information and data collection that is faster, easily accessible, and efficiently organized.
