KEMAMPUAN REPRESENTASI MATEMATIS ANAK USIA DINI

Abstract


This study aims to describe the ability of early childhood representation. With this type of descriptive qualitative research. The research object of Kindergarten students (TK) Swikencana Langsa city. Data collection techniques are observation, test, and interview. The results showed that the child had a representation ability with the indicator (1) the ability of the child to change the mathematical form into the picture in their environment marked by the child can sketch the picture of the objects around them which amounted to 3 pieces, (2) drawing the geometry (3) ) answers a mathematical question using words indicated when the child is able to describe the image he made with the reasons for everything they do.
