Peranan Kepala Desa Dalam Menerapkan Tata Kelola Pemerintahan Yang Baik Terhadap Pelayanan Publik

Abstract

This study aims at the role of village heads in implementing good government governance for public services and what are the supporting and inhibiting factors in implementing good government governance for public services. Data collection methods include observation, interviews, document tracing, data management techniques and data analysis. The subjects of this study were village heads, village officials, community leaders, and 2 community members in Istiqomah Village, Darul Hasanah District, Southeast Aceh Regency. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the implementation of governance in Istiqomah Village is still not fully running well. Several inhibiting and supporting factors in implementing good governance for public services, including inhibiting factors, namely economic factors or human resources that are still low and public education factors are still low. In terms of support, that is, the funds provided by the central government to the village are sufficient and support from the local community. The advice that can be given is that it is hoped that the village head and his apparatus can improve performance in promoting good governance of public services and the community must be brave in evaluating the performance of the village head and officials of Istiqomah Village, Durul Hasanah District, Southeast Aceh Regency.
