Pengembangan Mobile Health Berbasis Aplikasi Terhadap Tingkat Management Diet Pasien Diabetes Melitus Tipe 2

Abstract


One of the treatments for type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) is diet management. The main obstacle for DM patients following diet therapy is the patient's boredom in consuming the same food every day. The aim of this research is to see the effect of implementing application-based mobile health on diet management for type 2 diabetes mellitus patients at the Lampaseh Community Health Center, Banda Aceh City. This type of research uses a Quasi Experiment (quasi-experimental research) with a one group pretest and posttest design approach. The population in this study was 1,266 people with 30 respondents using purposive sampling techniques. The independent variable in this research is Application-Based Mobile Health Implementation and the dependent variable is Diet Management for Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM) Patients at the Lampaseh Community Health Center, Banda Aceh City. Data was collected using the Slef Management Dietary Behaviors Questionnaire (SMDBQ) The results of the research showed an increase in diet management of 83% after application-based mobile health was applied to patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. The conclusion was that there was an increase in the application of application-based mobile health to the diet management of type 2 diabetes mellitus patients.
