Pengaruh Terapi Guided Imagery Terhadap Respon Nyeri Pada Penderita Reumathoid Arthritis Di Gampong Jeulingke Kota Banda Aceh

Abstract


pain is a main problem to people with rheumatoid arthritis, pain can be relieved by pharmacological and non-pharmacological therapy, one of the pharmacological therapies is guided imagery therapy, Guided imagery therapy is expected to reduce the intensity of pain without taking medication. This research was conducted to determine the effect of guided imagery therapy on pain response in patients with reumathoid arthritis at Jeulingke on 15 october to 24 october 2019. This study uses a Quasi Experiment Design research design using one group pre-test-post-test design. he sampling technique uses total sampling, this study measured pain response before and after guided imagery therapy using Paired t-test Test Analysis with a total sample of 10 peoples. The results of this study indicate there is an influence of guided imagery therapy on Pain Response in Patients with Reumathoid Arthritis (p: 0.05 <0,000). It is recommended that health care workers, especially community nurses, apply guided imagery therapy to the elderly who suffer from reumathoid arthritis at intergrate service center.
