Faktor-Faktor Yang Berhubungan dengan Gingivitis pada Ibu Hamil Yang Berkunjung Ke Poli Kia Puskesmas Bebesen Kabupaten Aceh Tengah

Pregnancy leads to changes in physical and psychological conditions that can affect a woman's health. This condition occurs because of increased levels of estrogen and progesterone hormone during pregnancy which leads to an increase in excessive inflammatory response to plaque buildup. Gingivitis is one of the periodontal disorders that are often encountered in pregnant women.                This research was conducted by analytical method conducted on April 17, 2018 in Poli KIA Puskesmas Bebesen, Central Aceh District. The population in this study were all pregnant women who visited the Poli Kia Puskemas Bebesen Central Aceh district with a sample of 30 people. The examination was done by questionnaire and interview on pregnant mother whether or not there is gingivitis. Univariate data analysis is to know the frequency distribution of each variable. Bivariate analysis using chi square statistical test. Based on the results of the study showed that the incidence of gingivitis in pregnant women was in moderate criteria as many as 12 respondents (40.0%), systemic factors causing gingivitis in pregnant women in the category not as much as 18 respondents (60.0%) and external factors of gingivitis in the mother pregnant in the category of none as many as 19 respondents (63.3%). The result of chi square statistic test shows that there is a significant correlation between systemic factor and external factor with gingivitis in pregnant women with p value = 0,001 and 0,000 (p <0,05). It can be concluded that there is a relationship between systemic factors and external factors with the incidence of gingivitis in pregnant women in Poli KIA Bebesen Kabupaten Aceh Tengah. It is suggested to pregnant mother to pay more attention to the health of teeth and mouth by brushing teeth regularly and check the teeth every 6 months tooth dentist and consume nutritious food and fibrous.
