Abstrak

Abstract: The home industry of making floor cleaning products and liquid soap is one of the smallscaleindustries that is very possible for rural communities, especially housewives and youngwomen, to increase their income. The purpose of the service activity is to educate the public withthe knowledge and skills of making floor cleaner and liquid soap. Service activities were carriedout in Sango Village, Jaya District, Aceh Jaya Regency. The target beneficiaries of this activity aremothers and young women, some of whom are not working. The implementation of service activitiesare carried out in several stages, namely: providing brochures and procedures for the process ofmaking floor cleaner and liquid soap; providing the main and supporting ingredients for floorcleaner and liquid soaps; providing process equipment for floor cleaner and liquid soap;introducing packaging techniques with appropriate labeling systems and providing packagingequipment information; providing practical marketing knowledge suitable for home industries. Theresults of the service activities show that housewives and young women as beneficiaries have gainedknowledge and skills in the process of making floor cleaning products and liquid soap and they havebeen able to produce these products and are committed to continuously making these products andselling them to the village community.
