Abstract

Abstract: Community service aims to give education  about wound types and wound care management, and things to do and do not in order to maximize wound healing.Excoriation/bruise/hematoma and incisions is the most  common injuries in daily. A proper wound management makes a good prognosis. This is a lecturer method. Community service in socialization wound first aid management  held in Gampong Taeuk Mon Panah. After socialization, we hope people  could more understand about first aid management.  Keywords: injury, first aid management, societyAbstrak: Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan  untuk memberikan edukasi kepada masyarakat tentang jenis dan tata laksana penanganan awal pada luka, serta hal-hal yang harus dilakukan dan yang harus dihindari agar penyembuhan luka dapat maksimal. Luka lecet/lebam/memar dan luka iris merupakan jenis luka yang paling sering terjadi dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Penanganan luka yang tepat akan membuat prognosis yang baik. Metode sosialisasi yang dilakukan melalui metode ceramah. Pengabdian masyarakat sosialisasi penanganan awal pada luka dilakukan di Gampong Ateuk Mon Panah, Aceh Besar yang dihadiri oleh warga masyarakat setempat. Setelah sosialisasi dilakukan, masyarakat menjadi lebih paham bagaimana penanganan awal pada luka yang tepat.
