Hubungan Budaya dengan Kejadian Kekurangan Energi Kronik (KEK) pada Ibu Hamil di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Montasik Kabupaten Aceh Besar Tahun 2020
Abstrak
Energy intake during pregnancy is a determining factor for the health of pregnant women and the fetus they contain. Chronic Energy Deficiency (CED) in the mother can increase the risk of anemia, bleeding, and infection with infectious diseases, the risk of prolonged labor, premature delivery, stunted fetal growth, miscarriage or abortion. The World Health Organization (WHO) (2018) reports that the global prevalence of anemia and CED in pregnancy is 35-75%. This study aims to determine the relationship between culture and the incidence of Chronic Energy Deficiency in pregnant women in the Montasik Health Center Work Area, Aceh Besar District in 2020. This type of research is an analytical survey which was carried out from 17 to 20 November 2020 at the Montasik Health Center Aceh Besar. The population in the study of pregnant women in the first to third trimesters in May 2020 amounted to 152 people. The technique in this research is proportional sampling with a sample of 60 people. Data collection using primary data with univariate and bivariate analysis. The results of the study showed that there was a cultural relationship (p=0.002) with the incidence of CED in pregnant women. The conclusion is that there is a cultural relationship with the incidence of CED in pregnant women. It is recommended that the Montasik Health Center, especially midwives, can provide comprehensive information to all pregnant women during ANC visits related to the importance of maintaining maternal nutritional status during pregnancy and the dangers of KEK. And it is necessary to conduct training on making additional food from local food ingredients so that pregnant women can easily get food ingredientsUnduhan
