KORELASI KETERAMPILAN ABAD 21 DENGAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA SD MELALUI IMPLEMENTASI ALAT PERAGA BANGUN DATAR DARI SAMPAH PLASTIK

Abstract


The waste problem is an urgent and pressing issue currently being faced. Therefore, environmental awareness and knowledge should be carried out from an early age, starting from the school environment. Many things can be done related to education and waste management in schools, one way is to convert plastic waste into mathematical teaching aids. However, the availability of teaching aids in schools is often limited due to cost factors. Meanwhile, education today also faces other challenges due to technological developments. 21st-century skills such as critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and communication are very important for students. This study aims to implement and analyze the relationship between 21st-century skills and elementary school student learning outcomes through the use of teaching aids made from plastic waste. The population in this study were all students at SDN Kreung Raba with a research sample of 22 fifth-grade students. The data collection technique was through the distribution of a 21st-century skills questionnaire consisting of 20 items and 5 essay questions on the material of flat shapes and analyzed by a correlation test. The results of the correlation test r was 0.69 with a coefficient of determination of 66.65%. This indicates that there is a strong relationship between 21st-century skills and elementary school student learning outcomes through the use of teaching aids made from plastic waste
