FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI PERILAKU MAKAN PADA REMAJA OBESITAS DI SMA KOTA BANDA ACEH

Abstract


Overweight (obesity) adolescents is still a health problem that can interfere with the activities and learning processes. Observations from 5 secondary schools consisting of SMAN 1, SMAN 2, SMAN 3, SMA Methodist, and SMA Cut Meutia in Banda Aceh were found in 134 obese teenagers. This incident was allegedly caused by factors of knowledge, attitudes, pocket money, family roles and peer roles. The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of knowledge, attitudes, eating habits, family roles and peer roles on the behavior of obese adolescents. This type of research is qualitative using the Case Control design. The population was 134 people with a sample of 134 cases and controls (not obese) 134 people were taken by sex and age maching. The technique of collecting data using a questionnaire. The analyzed data were analyzed by univariate, bivariate and multivariate using multiple logistic regression tests at the significance level of 95%. The results showed that knowledge, attitudes and pocket money, family role and peer role influence the eating behavior of obese adolescents with a value of p <0.05. It is recommended that the School activate School Health Efforts and empower peers and provide healthy canteens so that teenagers are controlled in buying food. Adolescent parents can implement evaluations of snacking behavior once a month to monitor unhealthy snacking habits and adolescents to apply economical behavior.
