FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG BERHUBUNGAN DENGAN KEPATUHAN MENGKONSUMSI OBAT PADA PASIEN TUBERKULOSIS PARU DI RUMAH SAKIT MEURAXA

Abstract


Abstract: Pulmonary tuberculosis (pulmonary TB) is an infectious disease prevalence is highest in the world and is a direct infectious disease caused by TB bacteria(Mycobacterium tuberculosis). A study was conducted to identify factors related to drug adherence in patients with lung tuberculosis at Meuraxa Hospital. The research variables are dependent variable, drug adherence and independent variable, age, gender, education, occupation, socioeconomic, knowledge, attitude and family support. The study design was descriptive correlative data collection method with cross sectional study. The sampling technique in this research is nonprobability sampling method with consecutive sampling technique. The study was conducted from February to June 2017. It can be concluded from the 38 respondents that there is a relationship between age(ρ-value = 0.000), education (ρ-value = 0.034), income (ρ-value = 0.028), knowledge (ρ- value = 0.000), family (ρ-value = 0.001) and there was no correlation between the sexes (ρ-value = 1.000), work (ρ-value = 0.135), adherence to consume the drug in patients with pulmonary tuberculosis in hospital Meuraxa.
