HUBUNGAN UMUR DAN PARITAS DENGAN KEJADIAN KEKURANGAN ENERGI KRONIK (KEK) PADA IBU HAMIL DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS LHOKNGA ACEH BESAR

Abstract

Chronic energy deficiency is a condition of pregnant women who suffer from food deficiencies that last long (chronic) with various health problems in pregnant women. Pregnant women should fulfil their nutritional intake during pregnancy to avoid chronic energy deficiency (CED). From the results of preliminary studies that have been conducted by researchers on 10 visiting pregnant women, 7 pregnant women whose LILA measurement results are in the normal category and 3 of them experience Chronic Energy Deficiency (SEZ) with the results of LILA ≤23.5cm. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between age and parity with the incidence of Chronic Energy Deficiency (CHD) in pregnant women in the Lhoknga Health Centre working area, Aceh Besar. This study is an analytical study with a cross sectional approach. The population in this study were all pregnant women in the Lhoknga Aceh Besar Health Centre Working Area from July-August totalling 35 people with a total sampling process. The analysis technique was carried out with the Chi- Square test. The results obtained were that there was a relationship between age (p value = 0.045) and parity (p value = 0.002), with the incidence of Chronic Energy Deficiency (CHD) in pregnant women in the Lhoknga Health Centre Working Area, Aceh Besar. It is recommended to respondents or pregnant women to be able to plan their pregnancy and maintain a diet before pregnancy planning. To health workers in order to provide counselling to pregnant women about Chronic Energy Deficiency (SEZ) during pregnancy.
