HUBUNGAN DUKUNGAN KELUARGA TERHADAP KEJADIAN REHOSPITALISASI PASIEN SKIZOFRENIA DI RSJ ACEH

Abstract

In the process of healing mental illness patients are needed the role and support of the family. Because with the high motivation of the family will make these patients feel comfortable and more confident. If family support is good for the healing process of patients with schizophrenia then it will be very beneficial and very helpful both to patients directly and to the hospital indirectly. This study was conducted so that researchers can find out whether there is a significant relationship between family support for the recurrence of schizophrenia patients in the Polyclinic of the  Mental Hospital in Aceh Province. In this study using a cross-sectional design, with a sample of 181 respondents. Data collection was conducted in  january 2024 using a questionnaire. From the results of research that has been done found that there is a meaningful relationship between family support with recurrence in schizophrenic patients. Expectations from this research that have been carried out so that families can be more optimal in supporting roles in the schizophrenia patient's healing program.
