PENGETAHUAN DAN SIKAP SISWA TENTANG KEBERSIHAN GIGI DAN MULUT DI SD ABULYATAMA ACEH BESAR

Abstract

Oral health is an important part of general human health. This study aims to determine the level of knowledge and attitudes of students about oral hygiene at SD Abulyatama Aceh Besar. This study uses a quantitative method with a correlative analytical research type and a cross-sectional approach. This study was conducted in januari 2024. The research sample was taken using a total sampling technique involving 90 students in grades IV, V and VI of SD Abulyatama. The results of the study showed that there was a significant relationship between knowledge and oral hygiene status, namely Sig = 1.00; the relationship between children's attitudes about oral health (based on the Chi Square statistical test, sig value = 0.292. The conclusion of this study is that children's knowledge and attitudes about oral health do not affect the status of students' oral hygiene. Therefore, students of SD Abulyatama are expected to improve their oral health by implementing a healthy lifestyle every day.
