GAMBARAN TINGKAT PENGETAHUAN IBU TENTANG PERTOLONGAN ISPA PADA BALITA DI PUSKESMAS KUTA BARO ACEH BESAR

Abstract


Acute Respiratory Tract Infection (ARI) is still a significant public health problem, especially because it is an acute disease that can cause death in toddlers in various developing countries, including Indonesia. This study aims to describe the level of parental knowledge about handling ARI in toddlers at the Kuta Baro Health Center, Aceh Besar. This study uses a descriptive quantitative method with a descriptive design. Sampling using a purposive sampling method with 76 parents as respondents. The research instrument used was a questionnaire about handling ARI. The results showed that the majority of mothers' knowledge about ARI Help at the Kuta Baro Health Center, Aceh Besar in 2024 had good knowledge, as many as 76 respondents (96.1%). Parents with good knowledge are expected to continue to improve their knowledge about ARI transmission in toddlers by seeking information from cadres, health workers at the health center, and other information media.
