HUBUNGAN PENGETAHUAN ORANG TUA TENTANG IMUNISASI DENGAN KETERCAPAIAN CAKUPAN IMUNISASI ANAK

Abstract

Immunization is the right of every child, and parents hold the primary responsibility for the growth and development of their babies. This study aims to determine the relationship between the level of parental knowledge about immunization at the Kuta Baro Aceh Besar Health Center. This study uses analytical research with a cross-sectional approach. This study was conducted in maret 2024. Sampling in this study used a purposive sampling technique. The sample in this study amounted to 106 respondents. The data collection technique in this study used a questionnaire to determine the knowledge of mothers and KMS. Data analysis was carried out in this study using univariate, bivariate, and statistical testing using chi-square. The results of the study showed that there was no significant relationship between the level of parental knowledge about immunization and the achievement of child immunization coverage. This is indicated by p-value> α (0.081> 0.05). Based on the results of this study, it is recommended that health agencies and health workers, especially parents, further improve health-related activities and immunization. In addition, it is important to maintain and improve mothers' knowledge about immunization.
