Abstract
Bullying is one of the main problems in the educational environment that has a significant impact on student psychology. This study aims to explore the relationship between acts of bullying and psychological impact in students of Abulyatama Junior High School in Aceh Besar. A quantitative approach with descriptive survey method was used to collect data from students selected by stratified random sampling. Data were analyzed using correlation tests to identify the relationship between bullying intensity and psychological indicators such as anxiety, depression, and self-esteem. The results showed that verbal bullying and cyberbullying were the most common types, with significant prevalence. Students who were victims of bullying showed higher anxiety and depression scores than other students. In addition, this study identified that social support from family and peers can help reduce the negative impact of bullying. Conversely, bullies showed a higher risk of developing antisocial personality defects in the future. In conclusion, bullying has a long-term impact on students' psychology. The results of this study emphasize the importance of school and community-based interventions to systematically prevent and address bullying. With a holistic approach, a safe and supportive school environment can be created, supporting students' optimal psychological development.
